Need a hand? The ActiveStandards support centre is here to help

At Magus, we’re committed to ensuring our users have access to as much information as possible about how ActiveStandards works, and how they can benefit from it.

Ensuring all our users get the most from ActiveStandards means making sure they are fully versed in the vast range of functionality it has to offer. Most users will attend a detailed webinar when they first start to use ActiveStandards – but with so much to take in, it’s easy to forget some of the more advanced features, such as reporting. Earlier this year, as part of our Spring 2012 release, we launched a new support centre aimed at doing just that.

Empowerment through knowledge

Our support centre distills all ActiveStandards’ functionality into friendly, bite-sized chunks of information. Each task, compliance area and user role has a dedicated page. So, if you want to learn about a particular ActiveStandards feature, you can find the relevant help section in just a few clicks or by using the search bar.

Here’s what you’ll find in the support centre:

Video tutorials

We’ve created an engaging library of training videos which take you through each step of key error resolution, management and reporting tasks. Each video is only a few minutes long, enabling you to learn at your own pace and replay any sections when you need to recap.

How to guides

Find out how ActiveStandards can help you improve in key areas such as SEO, accessibility, cookies compliance and mobile, by taking a look at our in-depth help guides. These guides outline what you need to know from an editorial or management point of view, tasks you can carry out to improve in this area and how ActiveStandards functionality can help.

Communications

We’ve also introduced two new communication channels which you can use to reach our Product Support team. You can connect with us on Twitter, where we deliver a steady stream of updates on web governance best practice. You can also use Twitter to ask our team direct questions relating to your ActiveStandards setup. Tweet away and we’ll get right back to you.

You can also post a public question in our community Q&A area within the support centre. As well as assistance from Magus experts, you can also get opinions from other ActiveStandards users – or you can weigh in with your own opinions, methods and experiences in answer to questions from other users.

Are you already using the support centre? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We’re interested in hearing about your experiences and are always open to constructive feedback, so please get in touch if you have a suggestion or two. Who knows, maybe your improvement request could save your colleagues a lot of effort!
